Mia Saine is a queer African-American illustrator and designer from Memphis, Tennessee. Mia enjoys sharing real narratives about marginalized people while creating flat, vibrant illustrations. They specialize in branding and editorial illustration yet work within various print and digital mediums to celebrate diversity and community. They compose positive, empowering imagery and comforting storytelling that encourage a digestible approach to communicating dire issues with others. Mia primarily uses Adobe Fresco and Illustrator to explore color, pattern, texture, and collage in their dynamic illustrations. Their artwork is enriched by the humanistic elements of love, community, togetherness, social awareness, social justice, health, and more. During Mia’s emerging career, they have collaborated with progressive national and international clients across the creative fields of advertising, branding, and publishing.
